Conference

The Waterfront Communities Project held its final conference "Waterfront City" in Edinburgh on the 1-2 March 2007. The conference shared the findings and recommendations of the Waterfront Communities Project.

The conference was designed for urban development professionals and decision makers from across Europe including developers, planners, architects and politicians.

Keynote speakers at the conference include Professor Klas Tham of Lund University and Professor Michael Carley from the School of the Built Environment, Heriot-Watt.

An expert panel from Glasgow, Hamburg, Oslo and Edinburgh rounded off the event with their top 5 recommendations for creating successful waterfront developments.
